Our story drifts back to 2009 and 2010, the years when I was still a high school student, just taking my first steps into music production with FL Studio 11. It was then, quite by chance, that I discovered Ennex on YouTube through his remake of Tobu's "Magic." I sent him a message asking for the FLP file, exactly as instructed in the description and just like that, boom, a friendship was born. Looking back now, it still makes me laugh to think how it all began. Not long after, Ennex introduced me to a wider circle of kindred spirits AhXon, Kilian, Dripice, Seffy, Axel Wernberg, Axlance, Dustin Miles, and others and from that moment on, we followed one another's work and grew close as friends. We even kept a group chat on Snapchat, where we talked and shared stories with one another every single day. If I'm honest, with the wide-eyed enthusiasm of a schoolboy, all I could think about back then was finding a way to stand out to craft my own solo tracks, to collaborate with the very "seniors" I've just described.
From that point on, I devoted myself tirelessly to practice, forever hungry to deepen my understanding of music and sound design. Among all those friends, the one who has always inspired me most has, without a doubt, been Ennex. I cannot deny that my musical style bears an unmistakable resemblance to his and truthfully, his influence reaches even further, shaping the way I dress and the way I speak in everyday life. People often say that certain intimate truths are best kept quiet, but I have never been one to follow that rule. I want the whole world to know, in the clearest possible terms, just how close Ennex and I truly are. There were nights when he came home late, utterly worn out, and yet he still found the patience to answer my rambling, nonsensical messages, simply because I needed his advice. Beyond this, I owe heartfelt thanks to the friends who lent their talents to this album, "somniate." They, too, belong to this new generation of producers, bound together by a shared devotion to the Melodic House genre. Their presence here means more to me than words can capture. They are, all at once, my fans and my dearest friends, and their part in this album one that marks the closing chapter of my career leaves an imprint far greater than I ever imagined. Beyond this deep well of gratitude and my most sincere thanks to every one of you, I find myself at a loss for words.
To Pier Grants - Ennex, I hope that once you have read these words and listened to this album from beginning to end, you will come to understand, to truly feel the boundless respect I hold for you, and the depth of my gratitude for everything you have taught me: every lesson, every piece of guidance, every fragment of wisdom you have shared with me about music. It would be no exaggeration to say that without your counsel, your mentorship, and your unwavering support, the person I am today simply would not exist. And most importantly of all Happy birthday, my big brother!
